Bikram Yoga Con't

It's my 6th class today.  It's funny how each class is soo different.  I'm not sure if the temperature is consistent in that room, but today, I actually felt cold at the end of the class.  I have never felt cold in that room before!  I don't know if the yoga is the only reason affecting my body.  I do see a change though. I am definitely more "regular" than usual.  But I think it is caused my a change in my eating habit.  Before I eat my 3 meals a day (fairly big portions for my size apparently, based on others' comments).  Now because I want to have a meal a couple of hours right before yoga, so at around 3 pm, I've been eating smaller meals for lunch and then eat again at around 2 or 3pm.  So usually one of those lunch meals would be fruits or salads. C I think I should keep that habit even after I stop the yoga. I also use to feel completely exhausted after yoga during my first week and now I feel tired, but not more than if I came back ...

Bikram Yoga

I started going to Bikram yoga.  Started April 16th, and have gone to it for 3 times now.  Going later today.  I find it quite challenging.  The heat is overwhelming, find it a bit ridiculous actually.  But it's interesting how my body has been slowly adapting to it.  My first class, I had to pause after about 1/3 way through the class.  I was also pushing myself, really trying not to give up.  I think I missed about 3 or 4 poses.  The next day, I paused maybe more than half way through the class.  And at my last class, I was able to go through the whole series, although I thought I was going to pass out at some point.  I was also not going at 100%.  I feel actually quite exhausted after each class and haven't been able to see the benefits.  Instead of feeling refreshed the next day, I continue feeling tired.  I remember the day after my first class, I actually have an intense headache.  I think it might be ...

Sweet Potato Fries with lemon, honey mustard, garlic mayo

I wasn't very hungry and so decided to have something simple and snack-ish for dinner.  I made some sweet potatoes in the oven along with some asparagus that I had on hand.  I am really enjoying "lemony" asparagus.  It has become a new habit that I chop up some lemon rings when I cook asparagus.  I  have made it in a frying pan and in the oven.  The lemon peels really bring a summery taste to the spears.   To make it in the oven it is really simple.  Here are the recipes for the fries and the asparagus. Sweet potato fries 1 sweet potato cut into fries = 1.00$ 1 to 2 tablespoon of olive oil = 0.15$ lemon mustard garlic dip: 1 tablespoon honey mustard = 0.10$ 2 tablespoon mayo = 0.10$ 1 teaspoon lemon peel chopped finely = 0.05$ 1 clove of garlic chopped finely = 0.04$ Serves 1 as main, serves 2 as side Total = 1.89$ Toss the sweet potato fries with the olive oil on a cookie sheet and spread it so it is in 1 layer. Cook in a preheate...
