New job, new routine
So I moved back to Ottawa. Got a new job, same employer but different department, different work. I have been eating meat about as much as when I was in Halifax. My mom is vegetarian and my dad not. I've been staying with the parents while I find myself an apartment. I basically eat what ever is made for me for supper/left over for lunch. I think once I live on my own, I can start cutting meat out again. I was reading an article about this photographer that takes pictures of Chinese families in remote areas of China. They barely own anything and the theme of the picture is "family stuff". It shows how little those people own and at the same time how technology or advancement in the world affects the traditional family. Most of the pictures show very basic furniture but then they all have TVs. I was very inspired with the minimalism of what they have. I find we are so obsessed with "stuff", that we end up being wasteful ...
